Suggestions and ideas to make your best flippee

Just seeing your favorite cards or photos mounted on your wall can bring back a flood of memories:

  • The day you opened the pack and found that card,
  • The day you first met him/her,
  • The day you saw them live,
  • Their World Championship year or,
  • The personal meeting that made this star shine
 

Each of these justifies what we want to display, but what do others see?  Do they understand these unique connections?

Tips for your best flippee

Find something that makes your flippee more personal. Did you see him pitch in the World Series? Consider a ticket stub in the back of the card.

Have a card and an autograph? put them together forever in your flippee

The best flippees ...

  • Show something on each side that makes you want to, “See the other sideTM
  • Create interest by creating a custom border or even a custom card that puts together the elements to your story.
  • Use cards that match the flippee orientation – portrait for portrait cards, and landscape for landscape cards  
  • Use custom cards to write out what you want to show. Sometimes a caption or a brief explanation sets the mood or delivers the punchline for your flip

Video Submission Guidelines

  • Please limit your videos to less than 5 seconds total
  • No ‘adult’ or questionable content – these will rejected (no politics please!)
  • Make sure your flippee is in focus and takes up at least 80% of the screen
  • Film your video in portrait mode, with a 9:16 ratio, if possible
  • Confirm that all content is readable
  • DO NOT send any copyrighted, or trademarked material in your video – it will be rejected
